Description
High quality ready mixed adhesive and grout based on acrylic dispersion.
Uses: For fixing & grouting ceramic tiles. Replacing broken and loose-fitting tiles.
Surface Preparations: All substrates must be clean, dry, and free of grease and dust. New plaster should be allowed to thoroughly dry out for a minimum of 4 weeks and primed prior to application. Existing plaster should have any holes or cracks filed and primed where necessary, and timber should be sealed prior to application.
Application instructions: Apply the adhesive using a 6mm notched trowel to a depth of 3mm with the ribs running horizontally, and only working with an area that can be completed within 15 minutes (approximately 1m2). Tiling can either take place from the top or bottom depending on application by pressing the tile firmly into the adhesive with a twisting action and leaving a 1-2mm space around each tile. Any adhesive on the front of the tile should be removed with a damp cloth immediately and the tiles left for 4-8 hours prior to grouting.
Cleaning: Tools should be cleaned after use with water. Sealant can be cleaned with water and soap before curing.
Limitations: Not suitable for continues exposure to water. Not suitable for PP, PE, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene and bituminous substrates.
